Founder - Good Life Refuge
Nicole Brecht is a lifelong animal lover, rescuer, and nonprofit leader who turned her deep compassion for animals into action. Driven by a belief that every life matters, she founded the Good Life Refuge to create a safe and loving sanctuary for abused and neglected farm animals.
Building the refuge from the ground up has been Nicole’s greatest challenge and accomplishment. Today, the sanctuary is home to over 70 rescued animals, a community built on hope and healing. Nicole has worked tirelessly to bring the organization to financial stability and grow a team of nearly 40 passionate volunteers, proving that together, we can make a difference.
When she’s not at the sanctuary, Nicole spends time with her own rescue animals, connects with nature, and focuses on self-growth. Her journey is rooted in authenticity, hard work, and commitment to giving animals the life they deserve while inspiring others to believe in the power of kindness and the impact one person can make.
